Sage & Sigil is a skincare brand that originated from the concern for the limited natural options available for treating my pets' skin ailments, and disappointment with synthetic and unpleasant products. Dollar after dollar was spent on new, fancy "natural" products, most of which were still made with toxic ingredients and none of which helped. This experimentation revealed a surprising truth - natural products for both humans and our furry friends, often failed to deliver their intended results, leaving a sticky or dirt-like residue, unpleasant scent or just plain didn't do what they are marketed to do. On a quest to change the narrative, I invested hundreds of hours of extensive research which led to the creation of various shampoos, lotions, and salves, which were initially tested on myself (and my wonderfully understanding husband and family). Knowledge in herbal healing and folk medicine made me question the existing formulations and refuse to accept what was readily available. We decided to change this by offering effective and pleasant skincare solutions for humans (and pets!) and remind the world of the healing power of nature.
